UPDATE: We are not sure what show will be on October 24th, but it doesn’t appear that it will be Fresno State or GSTOB due to conflicts at both sites...we will keep you posted as WBA works out their show dates and locations. Thanks!

Graduation is June 10th

All non-senior band members will be participating in the Clovis West Graduation ceremony during the evening of Wednesday, June 10th. Report time will be announced soon. If you have a sibling who will be graduating, you are allowed to attend the ceremony with your family. Please see Mr. Lack. Congrats seniors!

Check out this cool rhythm trainer app available for download. RhythmInReach is an educational music game designed to improve the rhythm reading skills of students. Developed by professional music educators, it can be used as a great tool by teachers to reinforce a musical curriculum.
RhythmInReach is unlike other "follow the beat" music games available today:
We have no audio playback of rhythms in order to eliminate mimicking or rote learning
We have no arrows or visual cues on when to play notes which discourage students from note reading
We track both the "attack" and the "release" of the note, teaching students how to sustain notes for their full values, perfect for most all major instruments and voice
