Friends of the Railroad
About Us:
The Friends of the Railroad, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization located in Victor, NY.
The area is privileged to have been served by the Auburn Branch of the New York Central, by the Buffalo Division of the Lehigh Valley Railroad and by the Rochester & Eastern Rapid Railway.
Today, the Ontario Central, part of Finger Lakes Railway, continues to provide rail service to the community.
Here you will find information about the excursions we sponsor with the Finger Lakes Railway, about the meetings we hold, a few photographs and educational materials, and, more importantly, a reflection on the proud and long history of the railroads and railways which passed through Victor, New York.
