Happy New Year to all in the Spencer Crossing Community.

It is my hope that this newsletter finds everyone having had a very fun, relaxing, and safe winter break.  It is already January.  The school year seems to be flying by as we are nearing the halfway point of the school year.  Parents should expect second trimester mid-terms to be sent home in a couple weeks.  We also have the Terra Nova standardized test coming up at the end of the month.  These tests are important as they measure our students’ progress in language arts/reading, math, and their overall cognitive ability levels.  Parents, please discuss these tests with your child(ren) and stress the importance of having them try their very best to do well.  We want to see all of the hard work they have put in this past year reflected in great scores on the tests.
