Board of Directors

Community Hospital, Inc. is a 501-C-3 Corporation, which is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors who are elected by the membership of the corporation.  Membership in Community Hospital, Inc. is open to all individuals or businesses who contribute $100 to Grape Community Hospital, Grape Hospital Foundation, or Grape Community Hospital Auxiliary.   The Annual Meeting of the Corporation is held the first Monday in February at Grape Community Hospital.  At this meeting, Annual Reports are presented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief of Medical Staff, Administrator, Foundation, and Auxiliary.  New corporate members are certified and new Board members are elected to fill 3-year terms.  The current Board of Directors consists of:

Grape Hospital Foundation

The Grape Hospital Foundation was formed in 1989 with the primary purpose of raising funds to pay bankruptcy debts. In 1993 the final payment was made to pay debts to creditors, IRS, and Medicare. It is only due to the hard work of the Grape Hospital Foundation and the generosity of the residents of the area that the Hospital is still operating today.   The main goal of the Foundation has been, and continues to be, to provide support for capital needs of Grape Community Hospital. Each year, patrons of the hospital eagerly look forward to the Grape Hospital Foundation's Annual Golf Fundraiser.

By making a donation to Grape Hospital Foundation, you make a difference in your community. Your support will benefit current patients, future patients and even perhaps someone close to you. There are many ways of giving. The Foundation welcomes gifts of cash, stocks, bequests, and insurance. The Foundation also receives Corporate, Service Club, and Foundation Gifts. In recent years the Foundation has provided 6 $500.00 scholarships, bought a NuStep® for therapy, an Easy Stand® for the nursing department, redecorated the front lobby, helped purchase the new defibrillators and an AutoPulse®, bought new dining room furniture and blinds, and have given $180,000.00 towards the purchase of new software for the hospital.  They have also done many numerous things to help make our jobs easier and more fun.  You can list this or put it any way you feel appropriate.

Any and all requests for event sponsorship can be submitted to the Communications and Marketing department in writing, one of two ways--

All requests will receive an electronic response as receipt of submission.  Healthcare-related events, community health awareness and medical treatment/awareness opportunities for Medical Partners or Grape Community Hospital are the most successful sponsorship requests.  Medical Partners is an Outpatient Department of Grape Community Hospital and cannot accept requests from individuals seeking sponsorship.
