Yes you!  Mia is 8 months old now.  I can’t believe how fast this year is going by.  She is doing great and I thought I’d give an update on her latest happenings.  She is finally sitting up independently and can push herself into the sitting position.  She was perfectly happy rolling around for the first 7 months of her life.  Although I’m not anxious for her to meet certain milestones, I am happy she can sit up because now she can ride in the shopping cart, sit in a high chair at a restaurant, etc. etc.  Life has taken on a new perspective and is a bit easier on me:)  I’m not sad I don’t have to lug that darn baby carrier around anymore.  She is crawling, yes crawling... and looking very interestingly at things that are up high, so I know it will only be a matter of time and she’ll be pulling herself up.  She loves to sit on the floor and play, go for walks, and watch Aiden and Cara pal around.  I’m not sure how much she weighs, I’m guessing around 18 pounds.  She goes back to the Dr. at 9 months for a check-up.  She loves to eat just about everything and her favorite food of the moment is yogurt.  Although it’s impossible to get her on a regular napping schedule, so far this only upsets me her type-A mom, and doesn’t seem to bother her one bit.  She’s happy and easy going pretty much all of the time and loves to smile and laugh.  We just love our baby Mia.
