I sit here writing this with a heavy heart. Lisa, Joanna, Ally and I just finished our trip to DR for the vacation. It was not your typical vacation. We were on a mission. Our own mission to help. My sister, Lisa, has been working with an orphanage that was relocated from Esperanza to Monte Christi.over 3 hours away from the original location and away from any distant family these children may have had. To begin..we arrived in Santiago and was greeted by Luchy..Lisa’s friend and a boy she has been taking care of there. We brought 7 suitcases of clothing and supplies. We drove 3 hours to Esperanza..visited with a family and stayed in Mao. The next day we went to the Orphanage in Monte Christi, gave out all the presents and Zarin teddy bears too! They loved the bears. We read to them..played together and took polaroid pictures and gave to them as a momento of our day. We bought some children in towns Helado. The next day we went to Santiago to help and set up the boy Lisa has been supporting since he is 14, in school. That took a majority of the day..then went shopping then, drove to Muncione for dinner. Slept in horrible hotel again and then today, headed home. Ally and I fell in love with Luchy’s familia and the children and can’t wait to return. We will be in touch with them and continue to send much needed supplies. If anyone has ANYTHING in good condition for children..I have their address and can email to you. It is a very desperate situation and they need everything.

Today was a great day I was the co host on Judith Regan’s FABULOUS radio show on Sirius 102. I was her co host with Brad. She had 4 guests and the 2 hours went so fast. I loved doing it and now know why Lisa has such a passion for it. I can’t wait to do Lisa’s show! Tomorrow I am going to the NY State Opera for a luncheon for the NY Ballet Company with Meera Gandhi and some girlfriends. i love supporting the Ballet company. My favorite memories are taking Ally to the Nutcraker, I am going away with Ally nexy week to work in an orphanage outside the country for 4 days before I meet Bobby in the Carribean. I have to go shopping and buy them supplies they desperately need. This is very close to Lisa’s heart and am excited to share this experience with her and Joanna.

Friday the housewives hit the tents! We went to the Project Runway finale! VIP entrance...premium seating...We met some really nice people there too. The style writer from Newsday interviewed us and I sat next to the Project Runway Bloggers! they were so nice. Newsday interviewed us for their website. After we went to Bryant Grill for an after party. I hate buffet lines so I met up with Allyson after school for lunch at Brillo. Not so great. The sauce on the veal was WAYYY too heavy! Brad met up with Ally and I at the tents AGAIN..to see Zang Toi. I have to say..the best show all week. I LOVE his clothes. Of course..front row...ran into Catherine Saxton there. I LOVE THAT WOMAN! Ally loves her too. She has really taken Ally under her wings so to speak. I was so tired from getting up early but Brad and I met up with Bobby and Judith afterwards for dinner in the East Village. Wow..what a meal! I forgot the name of the place..but gourmet! We all decided to go away to TURKS for the second half of president week. I am going with Ally to PR with Lisa and Joanna to work in a boys orphanage for 5 days. Then Ally will fly to NY with Lisa and i will fly to TURKS to meet Bobby, Brad and Judith. Oye..the plane travel again!..
Saturday I vegged in bed all day and Sat night went with my friend Meg to the MOMA for a private night at the MOMA thru USB. We ate Thai across the street. Just 2 girlfriends out on a Sat night.
Today I took a course for my RE continuing Education credits. My license expires on 3/13/08. I took 1031 exchange. I have one more class t take. After, Bobby picked me up and went to visit his mother Miriam. We took her to dinner for her favorite meal at the State Diner. Now I am home getting ready to watch the Grammy’s.

Today was very warm for NYC! I went to the tents with no coat),and saw the Carlos Miele Show. I love his clothes. He put together a beautiful collection. Then I met Monique for lunch at Nello’s . Monique paid so I still consider my boycott on! Then..took Bobby to the airport with a carload of teenagers. I thought things looked weird. At 6PM there was no one around and I commented on it to everyone. Then I took Ally and Nicole and Lizzy to Nassau Coliseum for the Spice Girls. Bobby called to say his flight was cancelled due to accident on the runway. I WAS RIGHT! Anyway..he turned around to come home. Not meant to be? He was taking Jonathan to the Marketing America Conference in Miami. We know the owners and think there might be some synergy for future business. We will meet with them in NY in a few weeks.
I have to admit..i was looking forward to the concert. i remember when they first came out and loved them. The still have fabulous bodies. Posh does a lot of posing and very little singing relative to the other ladies. I can;t help look at them as moms while they were grinding in a very sexual way in front of all these young girls. They even “walked” the male dancers with leashes! A little to much I think for this age group. This had to be one their best audiences. NEW YORK loves them. The energy was amazing. Overall a great show. Too bad they didn’t have more of their own music. They did alot of popular songs though so it was still a great show.
