In the past, they’ve had separate RGs, often alternating years. As my constellation of RG pages confirms, I’m a Gathering junkie, so would love to see these two large groups each offer a gathering every year, but would rather have one combined RG than none, as has happened. I believe this gathering, located centrally to this most densely-populated region, could become Mensa’s premiere RG if given sufficient support.
