11/20/08: New Album for 2009!-We’re happy to say that the new album is done...well, aside from mixing, mastering, artwork, promo, pressing...We’re on schedule for an early Spring, let’s say March, release. Its an all acoustic disc with 13 brand new songs and a real bluegrass-meets-Jeff & Vida feel. We travelled halfway across the country to Ft. Collins, CO and recruited four of our favorite acoustic musicians to contribute their mad skills and creative input to the project. Check out the bio page to find out who they are and what they do! The album was recorded at an elevation of 5000 feet at Swingfingers Recording Studio by the capable and multi talented Aaron Youngberg (founding member of Hit and Run Bluegrass Band and Finders and Youngberg). We had an absolute blast making this record and can't wait for you to hear it! We're also thrilled to announce that the band is on board to do select shows throughout 2009, so check this website often for news and tracks from the new album and sign up on the mailing list to get the info delivered straight to your inbox! .
Other Stuff J&V guest appearance on Jim White’s new release Transnormal Skiperoo. We were extremely honored to be invited to help out on a few songs. In addition to helping out with some harmonies and instrument parts, Vida sings lead on the last song of the album, Long Long Day. His catalogue of music is top notch- we love every and anything with his name on it! Go buy it!
