I have been on the faculty of the department of EECS at U.C. Berkeley since January 1982.  My research interest is trying to understand how to make decisions in a randomly varying environment. The application area I have focused on is communication networks.  The technical subjects I work on are performance evaluation, game theory, communication networks.
