Welcome ...
Welcome ...
My name is Sam Britton. I have something called autism.
Starting this summer, in August 2009, my mom and dad are taking me to get a special treatment using stem cells from umbilical cords. This treatment is expensive and there are follow-up therapies, travel costs and supplement costs. I don’t really understand how much $120,000 is, but I know it is a lot. I am pretty good at math so I figured out that if 120,000 people will donate $1 then we will be all done. If people give $100 each, then we only need 1,200 donations.
We are hoping and praying that you will help. If you don’t have a dollar to donate, then maybe you can invite other people to my website. Here is the place to help with donations www.NTAF.com.
I do not really know what autism means, but my mommy tells me that it means that I am special. I don’t really have any playmates because I don’t really know what friends are. I know how to say a prayer, but I am not sure what it means to pray. My mommy and daddy want me to understand about God and friends. I love to watch things that move and I really love playing on a computer. (Hoops and YoYo are my all-time favorite - you can see them at Hallmark.com)
My mommy, daddy and a whole bunch of my family and friends are working very hard to help me get better. They have done lots of great things for me and have invested a lot of time, energy and money because they love me so much. I am working hard, too. I go to school, you know. I even ride the bus home with some other kids from my class!
