I am a lucky woman.  I know that much is true.  I am surrounded by a wonderful new husband.  A loving family.  And amazing friends.  I lack little.

And yet -- or perhaps because -- my days are full and complicated.  I am a newlywed with a man who defies my ability to find the words.  I work in an emotionally rewarding, but demanding job.  I train for triathlons and challenge myself with racing.  I create through my writing.  And somewhere in between I  have aspirations of buying a new home and starting a family.

So this is my place to share the turns of my journey along the way.  Someday I hope my children and grandchildren will be able to read about me being, well, just me.  For now, though, I just would like a nook of this world to put my thoughts to a page.  Thanks for visiting.
