MONSTER JAM!

Our Cub Scout pack made its annual trip to Indianapolis to see the monster truck show. The kids loved it. It was a long day that started with the pit party where we got to meet all the drivers get their autographs and see the trucks up close on the floor of Lucas Oil Stadium, and ended with the big show in the evening. Here are some of the photos I took with my phone.

Zach went one the Troop 38 ski trip again this year to Paoli Peaks in southern Indiana.

Here is a picture of our beagle, Storm, a few days after his spinal surgery on Oct. 21. He spent four days in a vet hospital in Anderson, Indiana. He’s still learning how to use his back legs again and is SUPPOSED to be resting for the next month. His scar on his back is about 5 inches long and has 15 staples in it.

I Love A Parade!

The music group that Zach, and formerly Austin, are in participated in the Indiana State homecoming parade. They were unit 73 out of more than 150. Zach was camping with the Boy Scouts and did not make it.

Moonshine, Illinois, geocaching event

The boys and I went to the geocaching event at Moonshine, Ill., about 40 minutes from Terre Haute. There were Moonburgers to eat with all the toppings and about 300 other geocachers showed up. We won a lock-and-lock container as a door prize and had a great time. We also logged about 60 travel bugs.
