Originally I had planned to have this photo capture post finished by the middle of last week, however the weather has been so poor of late that every photo I’ve taken has been lifeless and dull.
This weekend looks to be a be brighter (and longer), so with a bit of effort I should be able to see what the 6220 Classic can really do! Check back next week for some everyday shots. In the meantime you might like to contemplate the samples above and below to give you an idea of how the 6220 compares to the Nokia N95 8GB.
As you can see for yourself, the 6220 produces results which are almost indistinguishable from the legendary N95, which in turn means that it will most likely equal anything that the N82 can produce, thanks in part to the Xeon flash. The only subtle difference that I can see is that the 6220 shots are a tad softer, i.e. they have less noise but also contain slightly less detail.
I’ll be back next week with many more samples and an in depth analysis of the results from the Classic.
