BBC iPlayer for Nseries went live today (1.10.08). It’s a Nokia Web Runtime widget which seems to work with a number of Nokia devices including the N95 8GB and 6220 Classic.

Rather than write page after page describing the quality and functionality of iPlayer for Nseries, I thought it would be much more pleasing to actually show you.

In this video I’ve chosen to demonstrate iPlayer running on an Nokia N95 8GB using video-out to a Toshiba 37’ 1080p LCD TV. Yes the screen of the new N96 and N85 is a big improvement over previous Nseries devices, but for family viewing it’s hard to beat the big living room TV!
