Welcome to The Bricoteer Puppetry Project

Puppetry from What’s on Hand

(and Stories from Scratch)

The Bricoteer Puppetry Project is an emerging and evolving devised puppet theatre company focused on using autobiographical material, object theatre, performance art, and ritualized audience participation to tell stories related to this time and place. Founded as a university puppet-building group in 2003, the Project has since turned to creating original puppet theatre pieces, presenting workshops, seeking out new collaborations, and discovering new contexts in education and social work for their consensus-based approach to sharing and combining personal stories.
