Este inventario de los árboles y las palmas del Recinto Universitario de Mayagüez se dedica a todas las personas que han convertido nuestro campus en el bello jardín botánico que disfrutamos hoy. La lista incluye 43 familias, 153 géneros y 200 especies, de las cuales tres cuartas partes han llegado de otros países. Las fotografías fueron tomadas por el autor, excepto cuando se indica lo contrario.

This inventory of the trees and the palms of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez is dedicated to the persons who have transformed our campus into the beautiful botanical garden we enjoy today. The list includes 43 families, 153 genera, and 200 species, three-quarters of which have arrived from other countries. The photographs were taken by the author, except where otherwise indicated.
