Why Owls?
“When I was 10 years old and living in Italy an owl visited our garden and became my pet. Ever since then I’ve had a wonderful relationship with owls.” The form and medium changes throughout this owl series, but all convey Miklos’ sense of the mystery of these beautiful creatures.
Our friend Miklos has been summering on Islesford for 20 years. Looking forward to spending more time on the island, he recently built a home and is beginning work on a studio and a pizza oven.
