Welcome to the RC Lines web page
The Ohio Pass Lines HO scale model railroad originally started in 1988 and was a track layout out of the Atlas HO King Size Layout Book . I started this project as a way to enjoy model railroading that started as a young child when my father built me a small figure 8 layout that that resided in my room. The plan you see today was intended to be a traditional analog system (DCC was not available in 1988). At that time all of the bench work was completed and all of the track was laid. No scenery was installed and the train was never run. Around 1990 the layout was moved from its then residence of Canoga Park to Covina, California. Although the layout survived the move, it was never worked on again and eventually it was destroyed.
Throughout those years I was never able to find the time to consider doing another layout. That is till now!
Starting with this page I have renamed the Ohio Pass Lines to the RC Lines. I have renamed this layout to represent its current location (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) and a working title for a future planned railroad. This page will be a way of documenting the progress of of the RCL. I will try to keep this up to date for those who are interested in seeing it evolve.
