Michael Inman was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up he was introduced to painting and illustration by his father, well known Atlanta illustrator Dick Inman.  Michael attended several art schools including Ringling College of Art where he studied illustration, Art Center where he focused on advanced painting techniques, and Portfolio Center in Atlanta, also for illustration. From there he’s gone on to work on projects at many of the Los Angeles based animation studios. Recently his matte, background and visual development digital painting skills led him to work on a very wide variety of styles and genres.
