Fractured Pictures is the trading  name of lighting and video designer operator Ian Reith .


Ian has  had a long and established career in the world of Lighting and Video . He started his career at Vari Lite where he was employed as an operator / technician for 8 years . He then left to pursue a freelance career working in all areas of concert , corporate , film and television .

 

His work has been  seen on such shows as The Eurovision Song Contest 2009 and 2010 , The Brit Awards , The Nelson Mandela Concert , Robbie Williams , The UK Hall Of Fame , The World Sports Awards and The Movie Version Of Cats . For a more complete list please see the CV section of the site  .

 

Ian now runs the company Fractured Pictures where he operates and design both the video and lighting for shows and events  .   

Fractured Pictures was created  with an aim to have a  more original feel to shows with an emphasis on textures and organic materials .

 

As well as his own design work Ian  frequently works with esteemed lighting directors such as Al Gurdon , Gurdip Mahal , Martin Kempton , Brian Pearce , Nick Collier , Baz Halpin  and with  such companies as ITV , Granada , The BBC and Done and Dusted .
