IAN LINDSAY PURDUE UNIVERSITY

Spring 2010

Here you’ll find information about my ongoing research on early complex societies in Armenia in the mid-second millennium BC.  The Research Interests page highlights recent methodological approaches I’ve been employing in the field and laboratory as well as a brief account of fieldwork during the 2008 season in the broader context of Project ArAGATS.

You can also find information about my teaching activities as an Assistant Professor at Purdue University, and links to our newly-independent Department of Anthropology (formerly the Department of Sociology and Anthropology).  This is an exciting time for anthropology at Purdue as we re-energize our undergraduate and graduate programs.  We have added important theoretical and methodological breadth to our department with a number of recent faculty hires while fostering collaborations with Purdue’s many world-renowned analytical facilities.
