Happy 4th of July
So we are slowly moving in. Today we had our first official breakfast at the house and now we are getting a feeling of what it will be to live there. It is very peaceful and nice.
This past week a lot happened. Some things that were supposed to have happened did not. Such as pool, roof, and pella metal details.
The coming week we will:
-
-Pour concrete drive for front of the house. It is all ready.
-
-The pool guys will send a different crew. Progress has been very slow.
-
-We are turning power on. We had to change something with how the power was going. The permits were cleared.
-
-We are installing water heaters and finalizing plumbing.
-
-Sheet rock guys will be there to finish mechanical room and small blemishes.

We have hung our first picture of art.
Base boards are installed.
Downstairs kitchen is mostly installed. We had a left over dishwasher and a fridge.
Bamboo floors are now washed and uncovered.
Door locks and handles are installed. We can actually lock the house now.
Kitchen counter tops are installed. Some tops were made wrong. They will be re-done and installed Friday.
Track lights have been installed. The tracks on extensions gives a feeling of space.
Mirrors and shower doors are installed in all bathrooms.
Stairs down to pool area have been poured. They will have LED lights installed. All pre-wired.
Master bath is done. We have some problems with the cabinets. They must be supported.
All A/C has been installed and completed.
All carpentry has been completed around the screened in porch.
The lake side deck is completed.
The first official breakfast at the house.
The carport area is ready to be poured. This will happen Monday. They are calling for rain and we want to be done.
