We are five Newberry High School seniors competing in the Lexus Environmental Challenge. The challenge is in part a competition for groups of students wishing to make a difference by helping to save the environment. It also gives the competing groups a chance to win thousands of dollars in scholarships and funding for their school.

Our group’s goal is to compete in all three competitions- land, water, and air/climate- and to win one of these challenges in order to compete in the final challenge. We want to make changes in the way we live in order to help the environment and also educate others on how they can do the same. We want to share all we have accomplished with everyone we can and show that anyone can make a difference in the world!
