Florie Santiago and CMMP - Philippines
CMMP is Correll Missionary Ministries Philippines. Led by Sis’ Florie Santiago, approximately 57 pastors have graduated from the three year School of Ministry in Laoag, Illocos Norte. Thirty four churches have been built in just the last few years.
The pastors are sent out two by two in their third year of school to plant a church where there is no church. Leadership training starts with children. Every home in a village is visited every month for prayer and counsel.
Solid teaching of the Word has brought much fruit. Every November a huge anniversary celebration is held and all the congregations gather together, even from as far away as Bagiuo, five hours to the south. Every March graduation celebrates the time for launching of ministries of these dedicated, fiery pastors. Solid training and follow-up are part of the leadership’s high success rate. Challenges remain and every village is different. But, these pastors are never alone for very long and able leaders are able to come and minister and discern areas to pray for and intercede for and many breakthroughs have occurred by this effective team ministry style.
A pastor can be supported for only $35.00 per month until they attain some manner of self support from their church planting efforts.
A new church can be built for approximately $7,500.00 USD.
Self supporting churches are the goal as they learn that God is their source, not man or the dollar. Your support helps launch a minister or a church and your investment goes a long way in providing generations with able leadership able to focus on the Lord and building a congregation in the early years of these passionate warriors of the Lord.

From Florie Santiago-Philippines
Dear Ministry Partners,
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all and your precious family! I am writing to let you know how grateful we are to God for you. It is because through your faithful partnership by your unceasing prayers and generous giving, 2008 to us and the whole ministry of Correll Missionary Ministries Philippines was meaningful and fruitful for God’s glory. We can’t stop thanking everyone for being a part of our lives and the Lord’s work that is entrusted to us. May God’s sufficient grace multiply your blessings each day this 2009.
Before 2008 ended, we are so glad for the wonderful opportunities we had for evangelism and discipleship. Last December 19, I brought our youth group, the SAVERS to our four-month old mission outreach. We presented to the people in the village messages of the Lord through their dances, human videos, hand mimes and songs. We praised God and were so blessed that at the end of the program, about forty adults and youth prayed the Sinner’s Prayer and were led to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus.. Some five women asked also prayer for healing. Pastor Lea Bueno, our pastor in the place heard from those who attended the program how they’ve blessed by the performances of the young people. We are praying that in that place, soon we will see a strong and healthy local church.
Our 14th CMMP National Youth Convention which was conducted last December 28-30 at our church in San Antonio, Piddig was a great blessing, too. There were 237 registered participants. The members of the host church through the leadership of Pastors Remedios Palo and Eva Jane Respicio did a great job in putting up tents as sleeping quarters and shades for worship, Bible study and other events since the church building could not accommodate us. With the theme of the convention, “Possessing Your Inheritance” from Deuteronomy 6:1-3, Pastors Randy Ramos and Elynoi Balicoco together with Dr. Don Cua shared God’s messages to the youth in the evening worship service. During the day, I conducted one-hour Bible study. What a joy to see our youth from all the CMMP churches enjoyed their fellowship, enhanced their Christian camaraderie and developed their spiritual gifts through their in-door games like vocal solo and group singing competition, Bible quiz, preaching, skit and their ball games. It is our prayers that all the young people who attended will continue to grow stronger each day in their walk with the Lord.
In closing, may I ask you to please continue to partner with us and pray to God to provide additional $800 for our pastors’ monthly support. We are blessed to work for the Lord with you. Please know we love to mention you in our prayers. We send you our love and warm regards to everyone.
Joyfully serving the Lord,

Here is Florie’s update from October.
Dear Ministry Partners,
We always thank the Lord for you because God’s provision is real to us and to our ministry through your generous gifts especially your unceasing prayers for all of us. May our God who never forgets your every good deed multiply your blessings each day.
We started our classes at the Bible School last June 16 for the school year 2008- 2009. We only have nine students, two boys and seven girls. Four of them came from our daughter churches. And just last week, they had their Students’ Council Induction Program. Each of them had a part to lead the service and what a blessing for us to witness how the Lord used their skills and talents. In that same time we had a Retirement Program for Mrs. Emilia Pascual as a way of thanking her for her dedicated service as faculty member of our institution from November 1995 to March 2008. At her age of 70, she often times has a high blood pressure so this prompted us to release her from teaching. Pastor Randy Ramos takes her place. By the way, our three graduates last March 2008 are now working with us. Daisy Palo is planting a church in Catuguing, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. Eva Jane Respicio works with Remedios Palo in San Antonio , Piddig, Ilocos Norte. And Gladys Joy Root is in charge of the young church in Malampa, Vintar, Ilocos Norte with the assistance of Pastor and Mrs. Jimmy Balmes.
We have many reasons to praise the Lord. For the last six months, almost all our churches experienced numerical growth. The youth and kids’camps and Vacation Bible Schools last summer opened more doors for us for evangelism and discipleship training and also our Compassion ministry ( child development program) headed by Corazon Respicio. Our congregation for example where Trinidad Pastor is the pastor needs a bigger space now for worship because from six people who gather for weekly Bible study, they now have fifteen adults and young people regular attendance plus twenty children every Sunday worship. Distant relatives of mine who are residing now in Vallejo , California gave three hundred dollars to be used for this project. Allanrey Bagaoisan, our pastor in Fuga Island is here at the Bible school and he reported that the church repair in Fuga Island is almost finished. He comes to get additional funds to complete the church repair and also the money for a generator to supply lights in the church and in some houses of members. We are grateful to Pastor Scott McLucas and all the members of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Orchard Hills for funding the church repair. Our thanks also to Pastor Todd Atkins and Mr. Billy Webb for raising funds for the generator. Pastor Allanrey told me, now that the church looks much, much better there were those who had been cold in their faith now regularly attending their Sunday worship.
We are facing a challenge of greater financial difficulty as of these days. Costs of rice and all our basic commodities keep increasing. Fifty kilos now of rice is one thousand seven hundred pesos ($40 more or less). We used to buy a sack of rice at one thousand two hundred pesos only. Financial problems stress our 45 pastors today. We at the mother church is trying to give them additional support each month because we see them really struggling much to live with one thousand two hundred pesos every month ($30 more or less) especially those with kids. It really breaks our hearts but we are very much limited and our church budget cannot make it. Some of our pastors have some tent-making jobs to have some money to support their families. But thanks be to God for His sustaining grace. Please pray for miraculous provisions for all of us each day.
In closing, once again we thank everyone of you for your partnership with us. We are blessed to remember you in our prayers. We love you and if the Lord is leading you to come visit us or feel led to support us as we labor for the Lord, please contact Rev. Jorge Parrott Correll Missionary Ministries, Charlotte , North Carolina , U. S. A. through officecmm@gmail.com or thru their postal address: P. O. Box 7705, Charlotte, N.C.
