The following figures must only be considered as estimates, there seems to be some confusion between actual migrants and those figures including descendants.

Several sources indicate that the number of Greek migrants and their descendants currently living in Australia are approximately 700,000, with the United States figures reaching approximately 1.5 million

Note:  These figures are most likely quite low due to the fact that country boundaries changed and immigration from Crete, Macedonia, Cyprus, and Greeks living in Smyrna, Turkey, etc. are probably not represented.  During the period of 1901-1930 Turkey had immigration figures of 325,259.
