Welcome.

I have been painting on silk since 1991, making a wide range of scarves, ties, greetings cards and paintings. I work from a tiny studio in my home on the Black Isle in the Highlands of Scotland.

Silk painting is a very fluid and expressive way of applying

colour to a surface.

I enjoy the challenge of combining traditional techniques with those from other media such as watercolour to achieve fresh, original work.

My inspiration is found in nature and the land, myth and legend.
