2/19/09 at 1:30 p.m.: “Dinosaur Museum” (in the MPR, then second grade classrooms)
4/07/09 at 9:30 a.m.: Field Trip to “Biz Kid$” (Six to seven chaperones per class!)
5/5/09 at 9:30 a.m.: Field Trip to the Central Florida Zoo: “Animals of the Rain forest” (four chaperones per class)
Welcome Message
At HDS, second graders roar with the dinosaurs and chart undiscovered territories with famous explorers. We enter the world of commerce to see a how a small business runs. Our zoological investigations teach us how to protect endangered animals near and far. Come join us to see how we use a careful blend of books, technology, process writing and creative problem solving to accomplish our goals!
