Throughout the year math lessons will include the use of math manipulatives.  Providing  “hands-on” activities allow children to make numbers in a concrete manner. 

Students are now working on Chapter 8 Objectives:

•Explore 2 digit numbers expressed as tens and ones

•Express numbers to 100 as tens and ones

•Estimate numbers of objects to 100

•Determine whether a ten can be made when adding 1 or 2 more

•Solve problems by using objects

•Compare 2 digit numbers and identify the one that is greater than or less than

•Order numbers to 100

1. •Identify the numbers before or after a given number or between two numbers
   

2. •Find and complete patterns on the 100 chart
   

3. •Solve problems by collecting and using data in a Venn diagram
