WCU Harp Ensemble is a diverse group of 25 talented harpists that range from college students, WCU community of music students, AHS members and Bucks county private students of director, Gloria Galante.

The members gain extraordinary experience as a harp orchestra working towards the highest artistic achievement in a brand new state of the art concert setting at the WCU College of the Visual and Performing Arts Theater.

The West Chester Harp Ensemble began in 1990 with outstanding WCU college and community music school students as well as members from the American Harp Society under the direction of professor Gloria Galante.

The ensemble performs an annual concert known as Harpfest as well as tours the tri- state area, television performances and radio concerts. The ensemble plays works of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Grandjany, Godefroid, Salzedo, Renie, Mozart, Debussy and much more.
