Gracie had a wonderful Sunday, with Ginna, Corb, and me. We are so thankful for this one day of answered prayers and pray that God would keep it coming!! Thank you all for your prayers.
A beautiful picture? No, not really one of Grace's best, but not all moments in life feel or look beautiful all the time, as they have not been feeling so to her mommy lately. Why is this? Well, because Grace has been pretty much trying to slap me in the face as often as possible. Why? I wish I knew. My frustrations and sadness with this came to a head today.
So, once the house was finally straightened, I got quiet enough to hear from Jesus about all of this, cuz I knew surely He would teach me something and try to turn this around, at least in my heart.

SO, the verse He gave me was Philippians 3:7-8,10
"Whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord...I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow to attain the resurrection..."

By the way, in case you are still wondering what was going on in this picture...Grace has taken off crawling down the hallway in her "feeding chair," in which she was strapped into, about to receive her feeding. Yes, sounds sad, but God gave Michael and I some good laughter over this "break away" move of our daughters!

Sure it might not be the most nutritional of dinners, but I finished the entire thing...Praise God! Daddy always says if I would just eat, I could eat anything I want, so I’m starting to test him on this.
Actually, I have really started to get back into eating. I mean, it’s not like I’m Corbin, but I am starting to be more interested in food. Sometimes I am a little nervous and it takes a while for me to open my mouth, but more and more I am getting better. I know that Jennifer, my speech therapist, and the wonderful people at school have helped me so greatly in this area. I praise God for each of them and for each of you who have faithfully stood in the gap.
However, she did best when offered a bite from her little brother!
Thanks God for this sweetness. Thank you to the Body of Christ for your prayers for victories, healings and sweet moments with this little gift God has given us!
Love to you all!

She got to hold the "Birthday Bear," and then open a present, which Corb gladly helped with:)
Then, it was cupcake time...greatness, as Grace had it ALLl over her!

I knew you all would like to see a piece of this joy (yes, I was teary for a great part of it:))and fun!
Much love,
Ginna
