Yes, that’s right, I was a “Party People” (you know, how that song goes?!) today.

I went to a friend’s birthday party today. To the average “Jo,” it might not seem like a big deal, but for my mom and me, it was. Why? Well, for a long time, it was hard for my mom to gather with others my age cuz I am not “where they are”…I know this sounds very silly to God, but it’s hard for our earthly flesh to deal with sometimes when we look at worldly measurings (for example, I didn’t sit at the table and eat cake and ice cream like the rest of the people did since I am still on a food strike). However, it is way cool when you stop to see things like God does.  Anyways, my mom and dad know that God has it goin on in my life, so they can now celebrate how He is doing things in my life in His perfect way and timing (hmmm…this is sounding like one of my last blogs).

So, yes, this blog is to break out in celebration with me!

THIS is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it…I know this is in the Psalms…my mom says it just about every morning when she gets me out of bed!
