Syracuse Tour

May 15-16 (Friday, 6:30pm - Saturday, 7am)

General Info...

Syracuse Tour is an event produced by SAYW (Syracuse Area Youth Workers) which is a network of youth pastors and youth workers from churches in the Greater Syracuse Area. The event has a local history of 8+ years, and grown to involve over 850 youths. The Syracuse Tour uses various venues for activities in the Syracuse Area for the evening, but through scheduled stops across the various venues, all 850+ participants will only assemble fully together for the one meeting at Believers’ Chapel. Our group (Church of the Rez + East Syracuse Venue) will be together at each stop of the Tour with a few other church groups.

Our group (Church of the Rez + East Syracuse Venue) will be traveling together, teens and adult leaders, throughout the evening to various planned activities. This is an all-night event (6:30 PM to 7 AM) and activities will be as follows:

1. ‣6:30p  Drop-off and pick-up teens at Church of the Resurrection, or for those who find it more convenient, East Syracuse Venue; pay regard to the specific times for each below.
   

2. ‣7:00-8:15p – Mini Golf @ Four Seasons - 8012 E Genesee St  Fayetteville, NY 13066
   

3. ‣8:30-9:15p – Food in Gym @ Believers’ Chapel - 7912 Thompson Rd, Cicero
   

4. ‣9:15-11:00p – Full Group (850+ teens) Meeting at Believers’ Chapel
   

5. ‣11:30p-1:00a – Cicero Twin Rinks - 5575 Meltzer CT, Cicero, NY 13039
   

6. ‣1:15-2:45a – Sport Center 481 - 6841 Collamer Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057
   

7. ‣3:00-4:30a – Hollywood Theatre (Movie: ‘Mall Cop’, rated PG) 2221 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale
   

8. ‣4:45-6:15a – Strike and Spare (Bowl) - 1777 Brewerton Rd Syracuse, NY 13211
   

9. ‣7am  – Return to Church of the Resurrection
   

What to bring...

1. Registration Card with Insurance Policy # & Money: If any of these are missing, we will need parent in person to supply info, and personally sign release before we leave. if there is a question, please call Pastor John at 572-5646.
   

2. Clothing: appropriate for outdoor activity and indoor. Also, sports will be played.
   

3. Shoes: comfortable shoes, and sports will be played.
   

4. Toiletries: possibly contacts & solution, personal medication
   

5. Money: for snacks along the way. However, one meal is included.
   

6. Snacks/drinks: water bottle to refill is recommended
   

Times to know...

1. Drop off: Friday, May 16th, at 6:30 PM at Church of the Resurrection, 7125 Collamer Road East Syracuse NY 13057 (drop off at 6:30 PM at East Syracuse Venue for any who find it more convenient to get to East Syracuse Venue. Shuttle will bring any at the Venue to Church of the Rez and will leave from ESV at 6:45PM)
   

2. Pick up: 7 AM at Church of the Resurrection on Saturday.
