German began his artistic career in 1980 in his native Colombia. In 1985 he received a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Bogota “Jorge Tadeo Lozano”. He later honed his talents through studies with master of Oil painting Zhu Wei Min, in Beijing, China.

German moved to Canada and settled in Regina in 1989. Soon after his arrival in the Queen City, he began sharing his talent with the community as an art instructor at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre.

German’s international experience as an artist and illustrator has given him a unique insight into his art, something which is personified in both his realistic and abstract work.

Throughout his career, German’s art has been featured at many collective and solo shows in Colombia, China, Hong Kong, the United States and Canada. In addition several private collector of Fine Art and Corporations around the world display German’s Art.

German has been involved in many mural projects in Colombia and Canada. He is also the recipient of several art awards from Colombia, the United States and Canada.

German’s Art has been donated to many non-profit organizations to raise thousands of dollars.
