http://web.me.com/germanculturecenter/2006/Salzburg_Chamber_Reception.html The German Culture Center presented a special concert featuring the Salzburg Chamber Soloists on February 24, 2006 in the Lee Theatre at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. A reception in Gallery 210 followed. The Salzburg Chamber Soloists ensemble was founded in 1991, when the violinist Lavard Skou-Larsen and a handful of colleagues decided to form an unusual ensemble. The aim of this ensemble was to perform orchestral chamber music but with the freedom of the soloist. Skou-Larsen combed Europe and the rest of the world until he had a group of first class musicians.
