About Mediabox

Mediabox is a fund that offers disadvantaged 13 to 19 year olds the opportunity to participate, lead, develop and produce creative media projects, using film, television, print, radio or online platforms.

Mediabox enables young people to; express their own opinions, ideas and views, gain new skills, encourage creativity, boost personal development and get their voices heard.

Mediabox offers five different types of grants ranging from £500 to £40,000 to create and distribute youth-led media projects that express young people’s ideas and/or views in a creative way, using their preferred media platform.

In its first two years Mediabox has helped almost 9000 young people to become involved in creative media projects. This has been a fantastic start. But we can do better; we want to put young people at the very heart of Mediabox.

We need nine Young Champions to do this!
