Today I get to spend the day doing one of the things I love most. . . stitching!  I’m adding the embroidery to one of my new designs, ‘Benji’s Pockets’.  ‘Benji’ is the boys version of  my ‘Betsy’s Closet’ design. . . (had to give the little boys their own design too!) . . . & it’s based on little boy outfits . . . & the things found in their pockets!  I’m using fabrics from Sandy Klop’s new line - ‘Snippets’ (moda) & a few from her previous lines as well. . . I’m a collector of Sandy’s fabrics. . . I love them all! . . . (you should see my stash of them!. . . One day I will have my own wonderful “Sandy quilt”!)

I should be finishing up the quilt top by tomorrow. . . & then it’s off to Nubin (my quilter) - & I can’t wait to see what she will do!

We are having a sunny day (but quite breezy!) - but are promised some of the colder weather that is slamming California today starting tomorrow - so this week promises to be a great week to get things done in the studio. . .
