Live a balanced life, that is---love your work and, by all means, laugh and play every day. That’s the philosophy of this extraordinary entertainer, Frank Birdsall.
Frank considers himself a Chicagoland native. Born in England, the son of an Air Force bombardier, Frank lived in Idaho; Morocco, Africa; Arizona; Florida; and settled in Oak Park, Illinois by the age of eight.
Frank’s ease of conversation and quick wit, along with his many talents, have made him a natural entertainer and artist. Frank, the athlete, holds two national unicycle championships in trick-riding. His strength, agility, and balance are also displayed as an accomplished stilt-walker. Frank, the sculptor, creates outrageous balloon characters. His comedy and skills are showcased in stage shows, as well as roving entertainment, throughout the United States. Frank has opened for such notables as Chuck Berry, John Mellencamp, The Buckinghams, and Barenaked Ladies.
Frank can be seen on a regular basis on stage performing his hilarious cycle show at the world famous Chicago’s Navy Pier. He also appears on college campuses across the U.S. entertaining either on stage or stilts. Other Chicagoland venues include corporate events, city-sponsored events, park district and Village festivals, and many of Chicago’s world-renown museums---such as The Art Institute, The history museum, The Field Museum, and The Museum of Science and Industry to name a few.
One of Frank’s most valuable assets has been his imaginative wife Pamela, whose original costume creations outfit him appropriately for each and every event, adding a special touch to the theme---ranging from the wacky, colorful, and outlandish to the sleek and sophisticated. To Pamela, the visual aspect of Frank’s performance is an important element in creating the overall entertainment experience.
As we all know, assets are important. Include Frank as one of yours at your next event. And Remember---a healthy life includes laughter and play.
