Welcome to Fox Racing Developments

Fox Racing Developments can supply virtually any part for any Lola model from 1963 to 1988. During the mid-eighties, Chris Fox who was at that time preparing and running the Lola factory works “Thundersports” car, developed a strong association with the factory. As a consequence he was encouraged by the Lola factory to take over the sales and distribution of their old parts. So, an arrangement was made for Fox Racing to purchase most of the obsolete stock along with the patterns and jigs to supply classic Lola spares to their old valued customers. This arrangement continued through the nineties when more stock was acquired as it became surplus.

During the early nineties Chris Fox was recruited to help form a “Lola Owners Club” with Eric Broadley’s son Andrew. Chris was the technical registrar and during this time was given open access to the Lola archive of drawing and information which has proven invaluable in helping the historic Lola owners keep their cars in racing condition. This arrangement came to an end in the late nineties following the factory’s attempt to break into F1 and the company changing ownership. With Lola’s new owners, Fox Racing was once again approached and recruited in 2001 to set up the Lola Heritage division which is still running today. Although Fox Racing is no longer a part of the Lola Cars International factory, Fox Racing still has close links with Lola Cars International.

Having acquired all of Lola’s obsolete stock from 1963 to 1997 and all the factory jigs and patterns from this period we are the world’s largest supplier of Lola historic spares. We have been restoring and supplying parts for historic Lolas for the last 20 years and have in this time built up an unrivalled stock of spares and archive of information. As well as our vast range of parts for all historic Lolas, we have a fully equipped fine limit fabrication department and CNC machine shop both manned by ex-Lola Cars employees who are totally dedicated to absolute quality. We also work with several retired Lola key staff to ensure we keep the authenticity which Lola owners value most highly.

Although we predominantly specialise in historic Lolas and spares we also manufacture and  restore parts for all makes and models. Please check out our restoration pages. Fox Racing has also manufactured its own Formula Ford project with Wiet Huidekoper, a respected racing car designer of many important cars. Along with its own projects Fox Racing has and still supplies parts and specialist fabrication for :-

Porsche, Nissan, McLaren, Chevron, Toj, Lotus, Osella
