Holston Camp 2010 Publications:

Youth Group leaders Dallas Maas, Vivian Haile, Charles and Deborah Sheffey and Rev. John Shuck work together with parents/guardians and the Christian Education Committee to provide our youth with stimulating, inspirational and age-appropriate activities and curricula.  We also work with Holston Presbytery on such events as Holston Camp, Youth Retreats, and other activities throughout the year.

Children in 1st through 5th grades enjoy Sunday School from 9:45 to 10:45 every Sunday. 

Youth 6th through 12th grades enjoy regular and special events.  Our youth take an active part in church as acolytes, and help with the video and audio recordings of worship services and other events.

Children younger than 1st Grade enjoy our professionally supervised nursery as well as their very own “Time with the Children” during worship services.

2009: THE YEAR OF THE CHILD at First Presbyterian

During the Year of the Child, the CE Committee will focus on questions such as
▸ How are the children?

▸ Do all our children have access to progressive Christian education programs?
▸ Are all our children safeguarded at church?

2009 Confirmands Service
