Prologue

“It was on a cold wintry day with the wind blowing hard when Roman, my favorite saddle horse, and I saw this critter on the creek stumbling toward us.  Immediately, strong compassion overswept my emotions as I began to realize this true result of animal dominance in the world of survival.  A gift in created memories, sent that day to  me, allowed doors to open in many forms for one to step into another possible level of the conscious realm of animal imagination.  Sparking fiction up along the historical facts of the creeks and valleys is a way, I hope, to send old messages out that might not have had a chance to surface.

The following episodes, mixed with real-life events and a little creek lore, depict only my personal thoughts of what may have happened, or may not have, on the quiet little creek of Beaver Creek in Arizona.
