It includes current works by leading members of the Cumberland Furniture Guild who explore the furniture tradition and its close association with the natural world and the human body. The selection of more than 30 works represents artists’ ability to draw inspiration from surprising sources in the creation of beautiful, functional objects that challenge the limits of the imagination.”
