Summer’s school called for a “crazy hair day” last week. It could also be called “in lieu of wearing Halloween costumes to class” day. I thought it would be fun to make a pumpkin on Summer’s head. She disagreed, but relented in the end. But then we both slept in. I quickly made the “pumpkin,” but didn’t have time to add a “stem.” So, she pretty much just had a wreath on her head. Not so much crazy as medievally cute. Next time there is a medieval hair day, we are all set. Also, as I mentioned to Summer, if next year she decides to be Maid Marian for Halloween, we already know how to do her hair. She hasn’t really latched onto that idea yet.
