If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Shana’s been on Facebook for awhile now, but I thought it was just for kids, so I never took the plunge. A couple of weeks ago one of my grown up friends “invited” me to be her “friend” so I signed up. It’s a little overwhelming, so many people yapping at the same time, but sort of fun. I’ve had two requests from people I don’t know to be my friend. One guy is the Development Director at SMOCA and we have two very hip mutual friends, so I said Yes! The other requester sounds a little weird and only has two friends - one is Sarah Palin - so, sorry, but No to somebody named Krisina (that’s spelled correctly). So, if you’re out there and you’re not friends with Sarah Palin, stop by my “wall” and say hi.

Movie Madness - Synecdoche NY

INCREDIBLE film! Weird, Charlie Kaufman deep and a little too long, but an amazing look at how our brains are wired. The cast was perfect - a totally original movie about how we’re all just trying to figure out what to do, who to cast, what to say, how to produce and how to end our lives.

Shana and I hopped on Carla’s fancy schmancy plane and headed up to Oregon with Maddie to check in on our new Duck freshman, Megan. Oh, and yeah, also to watch the UA/ Duck game. Go Ducks! Wait, no, Go Wildcats!
