THE ARTIST

Kyo Suayan is a landscape photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. When he moved from Los Baños in Laguna, Philippines to America in 1998 as a software developer, he got himself a P&S camera to capture vistas of places he visited and to document his experiences. He then became excited by the possibilities of photography as an expressive medium. In 2002-03, he took photography courses at U.C. Berkeley Extension. He was hooked for good. Kyo has participated in several group shows in Manila and San Francisco. Many of his work has been published in magazines and newspapers.
