Wayne Doba and Andrea Conway, who respectively incarnate the zany personas of Dik and Mitzi, are two multi-talented international performers who decided a few years back to start working together as a classic comic vaudeville style, acrobatic slapstick, song and tap dance duo.
Hailed by Donald O'Connor as a "throwback to the old Vaudeville days," actor, dancer and comedian Wayne Doba has performed professionally for more than three decades ,he has starred in no less than 5 one man shows. Former San Francisco Giants ”Crazy Crab” mascot in 1984, he has also shared the stage with tap dance legends like the Nicholas Brothers and Honi Coles. His stage and screen credits reflect the diversity of his experience and talent, and include the role of The Creature in classic horror flick, The Funhouse, Octavio the Clown in Brian De Palma's gang-buster hit Scarface, and an appearance as Tex the Barker in the Prague debut of The Freak Show, an opera by enigmatic rockers The Residents.

An accomplished athlete, Andrea earned a Bronze Medal in the 1987 Pan-American Games as a member of the Canadian Artistic Gymnastics team. She toured Asia,Australia, Europe and North America with Cirque du Soleil's “Saltimbanco”, and created one of that show's most memorable characters, the enticing and sexy Baroque. She has performed for the Jay Leno show, the Grammy awards with Peter Gabriel, and even with Michael Jackson! After leaving Cirque, Andrea was invited to work as a character clown “Rosette” for Teatro Zinzanni in San Francisco, where she met her soon to be husband Wayne Doba.. The two quickly paired up as the new comic duo “Dik and Mitzi”, and have been performing in successful runs throughout Europe and the United States for the past 8 years.

Inspired by such greats as Syd Ceasar, Ray Bolger, Donald O’Connor and duos such as Laurel & Hardy, Martin & Lewis, Fred and Ginger, Burns and Allen and of course Lucy and Ricky, Wayne and Andrea have managed to re- create “vintage vaudeville” with a new twist.

In March 2007, after years of working many of their different numbers in variety shows for a range of international venues, they finally decided to make their own 2-person comedy tap dance show assembling all of the material they have performed throughout the years:
“The Dik and Mitzi Anniversary show” was born.
