Welcome To My Sandbox
This is a sister site of Universal Sandbox, just because I have this new cool Apple Mobile Me Account and sharing photos, movies and music is a snap! Not to mention these beautiful templates Apple has provided for us members that look absolutely fabulous. I look forward to writing more and sharing insights this year in the Blog, started a few things already.
Just before I gave up the dream being a great photographer, I took 4 of the best rolls of film in my life in Scotland in 2001. Of course, it is hard to take any bad pictures in Scotland, but nonetheless, these were GREAT shots. I will feature some of my favorites on this site throughout. It was such a significant trip for me and had a lasting impact. I felt incredibly connected to this land and all the castles we toured. In fact, there was this strange déjá vu feeling in those kitchens, mostly located in dudgeon like caves at the lowest level of the castles. I think I may have been a scullery maid in another life...
I was surprised at all the pictures taken of “paths” on these rolls. Below is one from Cawdor Castle in Inverness. The patio shot was also taken at Cawdor. We spent 6 hours there... and I could have spent weeks. It was by far my favorite place on the trip.
These were taken with my trusty 1991 Canon 35 mm EOS 700.
