What happens when a pizza-loving Italian, finds himself living at the other end of the Roman Empire? Does he build a wall like his ancestors? Well actually he does, several - just on a smaller scale, as part of his Property Maintenance company, but like a true Neapolitan with a strong passion for what made his birthplace famous, he builds his very own wood-fired pizza oven in his back garden to remind him of home. Nothing can beat the taste of a real Neapolitan Pizza as a lot of his English friends now agree with and so the idea was born to combine this passion for pizza with his knowledge of building and that is how The Pizza Oven Company was formed. From the initial telephone call or email, we will find the right oven for you, and once you are happy with the design, we won’t just build your oven and go; we will then give you your very first lesson in lighting your oven and making your own authentic Italian pizza, following a traditional recipe.
