I received information about this from people at the Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) who supported the work of California Newsreel in creating this tool for community organizers, leaders, and members to use as they develop their own agendas for equity. WKKF encourages you to access the supporting materials and join the nation in discussion. It matters to vulnerable children, families, and communities. They want to assure that all children have an equitable and promising future. This program gives us an important tool, a way to engage community members in this critically important conversation.

I was recently browsing on the Obama campaign website and looked at the section on Technology. Especially relevant to CIC are the sections on the role of technology in creating a transparent and connected democracy, bring government into the 21st century, and deploying a modern communications infrastructure.
