Hello and welcome to the official website of the Cadishead Rhinos for season 2009/2010.
Another new season is upon us, and the Cadishead Rhinos continue to move forward both on and off the field. Following last seasons respectable 8th place finish in the North West Counties Division 4, the 2009/2010 season is expected to be another step forward for the Salford based club as they set their sights this season on promotion to Division 3.
In the last 12 months the Cadishead Rhinos have grown as a club and are now involved in projects that a few years ago would have seemed unthinkable. The club will this season operate two youth teams at under 16 and under 17 level following the huge success of the under 15’s in 08/09. The Rhinos are now firmly established in the local primary school providing coaching to children aged between 6 and 11 years old.
A few changes to the structure of the first team set-up will be evident this season as head coach and player Jason Reed continues to drive the club forward following his first full season in the roll. Jason has made two new appointments with Rob Molleneux being appointed as First Team Manager, and Danny Gray becoming First Team Assistant Coach. Both Rob and Danny have been with the club for many years and will now join Jason in hopefully moving the club forward on the field. With a new back-room setup and the strongest squad in many years, there is no reason why this season cannot be the best ever for the Rhinos.
So... Here’s looking forward to a great season at Lords Street.
