A Message from the Chairman:

‘The Festival is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year and there is a lot in store for the people of Daingean.

Its new committee members are enthusiastic and full of wonderful ideas. We hope to keep with its tradition while also adding new fun events and performances to make it one of Daingean’s most successful festivals yet.

The Daingean Homecoming Festival 2012 presents 'The Fashion Show' in the Town Hall, TONIGHT @ 8pm

Doors open 7.00pm - Show starts 8.00pm

Special Guest Adrian Brereton from Operation Transformation showing off some clothes on the Catwalk, along with with local people, GAA members, Vintage Tractor Members and The Daingean Youth Club.

It is a great year for Daingean with the community getting together while it undergoes a face lift for its appearance on RTE soon. We would like to finish the year off on a high note and we are giving the festival are all.

Again, we would like to thank the people of Daingean for attending our fundraisers, without their generosity the Festival would not be possible. All volunteers are welcome. Thank you & hope to see you all the August bank holiday weekend.’
